My practice has primarily involved General Family Holistic Medicine over my career. I pursued advanced learning courses along the way to augment my skills in traumatic injuries, especially with regards to the extremities, the spine, and concussion. Effective natural treatments for pain control, inflammation and edema are utilized as needed along with rehabilitation to restore comfort and functionality. Special consideration is provided to injury patients – motor vehicle collisions (MVCs), work-related (Work Comp.), sports injuries and domestic injuries. Headache and migraine sufferers often find the relief they need here. Additionally, I have a network of other providers that I refer patients to if a patient’s progress reaches a plateau.
I have an in-depth knowledge of injuries, having been personally involved in multiple MVCs, as well as work-related and sports injuries. I have suffered with many symptoms related to these injuries and understand what symptoms my patients are experiencing. Many people with chronic pain come into my office seeking understanding and relief from their symptoms. Therefore, my focus for each patient is to try to get good, measurable results the first time they come in to see me. And each visit thereafter.
I am currently enrolled in the Neurology Diplomate program. The focus of my practice will be on Mild Traumatic Brain Injuries; diagnosis and effective treatments not just for the brain and spinal cord, but also the detrimental effects on the rest of the body. The ultimate aim is to join the ranks of Functional Neurologists.
